Roll With It

Well, my dear Lily was the first of our babies to roll over! We spent the last week waiting for Carter and Seth, cheering them on and they got so close. Then, Sunday morning, Kevin found Lily in her crib on her tummy. Later that day, she rolled over again, but I missed it because I was taking a nap! So, she has rolled over twice, but neither Kevin nor I have seen it!

Saturday night Kevin and I decided to "go it alone" for the first time. (My grandma is having surgery, and we anticipate some of our family members not being able to help with overnights as much). For the most part, it was alright. Kevin and I had plans to feed two babies at 9 and two at 10 pm. then we were going to watch a nice movie. Well, at 8:30 all four babies were crying as though we had never fed them before. We quickly made bottles, changed into jammies, and fed them. Kevin and I were both feeding two at once...fun times! By the time they were all fed and ready for bed, Kevin and I were exhausted and just crashed.

I had to leave my darling babies last week to go to a camp of which I am the director. The camp went well, even with two kids taking rides in an ambulance to local hospitals. Neither case was negligence, just accidents....thank goodness. It was tough to be away from the kids, so I was VERY glad to be home Thursday night.

I have to give great thanks to our volunteers. I hope that they know how much of a blessing they are to Kevin, myself, and our babies. I thank God for them everyday.

Here are a few recent pictures. In order, Logan, Kevin and I, Lily, Seth, and then Carter.

Ok, so I think you should clarify that the KIDS that went to the ER were not the BABIES but kids from camp.

You all are looking fantastic. Glad to know you made it through camp, away from YOUR kids and with all those others!
