Good News

Yesterday I saw the specialist, and he said that I am stable enough to not have to see him next week! I have seen him every week for the last 11 weeks, so it will be weird not to, but I think the great feast of turkey will help out. Honestly, I am a little freaked out to not go in to the doctor. It has been reassuring every week to see the babies on sonogram and to know that they are okay. I will need to work on patience and trust, I guess.

Kevin is coming on Wednesday, but can only stay for a while on Thursday. My mom and Grandma Theisen are going to come on Friday for the weekend. I always feel like we won a big competition when Grandma comes to us for a holiday. Having 11 kids of her own and 12 step kids can sure keep that woman busy! I think we are going to do some Christmas baking, so I am trying to come up with a way that I can make pumpkin cream cheese bread from the recliner....any ideas, let me know.

And a special comment for my fellow Grey's Anatomy fans....I am glad the Hahn/Callie thing is over. I never really bought into that story line-it seemed forced. Now I am not too excited about this Izzy thing. But I am really excited to see where this new Sgt. Kick Ass is going in the ER. I like that actor. And he kinda scares me.

What I really don't get is the whole thing with Izzie and her "dead" fiance...so confused.

No kidding! I just don't get it, unless she is going mental, which I think is a terrible place to go with her character. We've already seen that with the pregnant girl that Karev had a thing for. Not fun.

I don't watch TV much so out of Greg's Anatomy loop. I won't get on my TV is poision soap box - leave that for my kids. Glad to hear that things are going well. I can't imagine all of the emotions you are going through and how mentally exhauseted not to mention physically exhausted you must be. Faith is what will get you thought all of this. Sometimes it's hard to remember what matters most with everything else that is going on. Take care and wish you the VERY best!

Can't you simply put a "tv tray" by your recliner, have others bring you the ingredients, and stir away?

Have a great Thanksgiving! Love and prayers from our family--Dee Dee

Glad you get to skip the doc visit this week. You have and will be seeing enough of him over the next 2-3 months.
I agree with the whole Hahn/Callie thing--totally forced. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Jeffrey Dean Morgan (hello--J boy!) and was very upset when both Grey's and Supernatural killed him off in the same season, but this whole "ghost" thing is messed up. Apparently, it will be "one of the most intersting triangles (Grey's) has ever seen. And it won't involve Izzie having a brain tumor" according to Shonda Rhimes. Still crazy whatever the heck happens.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. My advice for pumpkin bars from the recliner is SUPERVISE. You can always yell and direct from there. The tv tray thing is a good idea too. Just remember to take it easy. Talk to ya soon.
