They're Here!

Last night Kevin and I (mostly I) had our babies!!! They all are doing really well. We haven't named them yet, as I couldn't see them very well from my bed. We will be taking care of that this morning, once they unhook me from all these tubes.

The babies weigh:

A: 3 lbs 7.5 oz

B: 2 lbs 15.5 oz

C: 3 lbs 3.5 oz

D 3 lbs 8.5 oz

These are all super awesome weights for 31 weeks and 1 day. I can't wait to see them again!!! I only have pictures of three from last night, but I'll get more up later today. The picture of me is from earlier in the day....I had no idea that would be the last day pregnant. And there is a picture of Kevin and I, belly to belly. :)

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. We couldn't have done it without you.

Love to you all.

I'm so VERY excited for you guys. Pat (my nurse) and I have been following it. I'm just so glad that everything went so well. We've been getting the information about the sono's from Dr. Barsoom. We just got the last one on Monday. Can't wait to see them in person when you get back into town (hint, hint!). We'll continue to watch for more pictures and the names. Congratulations, again!

OMG! Yea for the kids; yea for their mom; yea for the world. It suddenly became a better place. And on my dad's birthday no less. It's a good time of year. There will be snow days for birthday parties and now you need a toboggan. I can't wait to hear their names. I hear Benedict is available... We have been blessed with four new little people who will have the best sense of humor. How much better could it get.

The excitement that is felt in our school family is immeasurable! I'd heard that those little darlings had been named (except for one little guy). Grandpa Ray told Ted that. Ted promptly got on the phone and called Uncle Rocky to see if he wanted to have a race to "win the rights" to the naming of your third son!! I will look for more pictures--all of our love and continued prayers! Auntie Dee Dee
P.S. The world is a better place, now!

You know when you have the most peripheral encounter with a celebrity and you feel like you know them? Well I was talking to a designer that I work with from Omaha this morning, and he mentioned that a set of quads were just born there, somehow implying that his town was cooler than mine. I was like "Yeah, I know. Close, personal friends of mine." Then I thought "Damn, I should probably congratulate my close, personal friends." So to that end...Well done!!! Looks like four healthy, happy babies and two proud parents! Good luck.

And what about names? You know, babies are expensive. I'm thinking raffle. Any thoughts?

Take care!

Congratulations!!! How exciting! I am so happy for you! So, what made them finally pull the trigger and deliver you? You should be very proud of yourself! You provided a very good home for those 4 babys for over 31 wks! Keep the pictures coming.

Congrats Jessica and Kevin! That's so exciting; Angi has been telling me about your "journey", and Kyle told me earlier today that you had delivered...and directed me to this blog. Babies are such a blessing...and you are wonderfully blessed with four. I'm very grateful that both you and the babies are happy and healthy...and hopefully we'll all hear more info!
